Using the Chapel Space for Recitals As a University chapel, the Episcopal Church Center seeks to serve the students and the entire University of Miami community. One way in which we serve students is by allowing them to use our chapel space for appropriate activities, including recitals, concerts, rehearsals, and lectures.
The Episcopal Church Center normally allows students and other members of the University of Miami community to use our facilities free of charge. However, we do wish to protect ourselves from expenses which can occur due to negligence or damages caused during the use of our facilities. For this reason, we do require the following of those using the chapel, patio, kitchen, library, or other Episcopal Church Center (ECC) facility:
- Check in the amount of $100.00 - made payable to Chapel of the Venerable Bede. (Deposit refunded after event if facilities are in good condition.
- Copy of current Cane Card and driver's license (showing current address)
- Signed Use of Space Agreement - kept on file in the business office. Click on the Info Center tab on this site, open the .pdf file, complete and bring by the business office during the week from 9:00 - 5:00 along with your deposit check. Please call ahead to be sure we are not out running an errand first at 305-284-2333.
